The Challenges
The company managed critical infrastructure including chillers, transformers, and UPS systems across multiple office campuses. Manual logbooks, reactive maintenance, and limited visibility over operations resulted in delayed responses, overstaffed sites, and rising operational costs. The challenge was to digitise facility operations, enable accurate workforce optimisation, and reduce engineering redundancy without compromising uptime.
The Solution
Ecolibrium deployed Ecolibrium SmartSense across 11 sites, integrating 621 meters to monitor chillers, transformers, and UPS equipment in real time. The platform digitised workforce management using automated data logs, audit-ready reporting, and predictive maintenance workflows. It also enabled centralised monitoring via a unified NOC and 15 digital dashboards (5 PAN India and 10 site-level), covering energy, asset, and critical area performance. Alerts related to temperature dips in server rooms, UPS load imbalances, and transformer inefficiencies helped prioritise high-risk assets, freeing workforce resources for strategic tasks.
The scope includes 621 sensor nodes for energy and temperature monitoring, covering 5 chillers with cooling towers and pumps, 10 transformers, and UPS units, across 11 office sites in India, ensuring efficient HVAC, electrical, and energy distribution management. We implemented operational excellence, energy management, and asset CBM/PDM & digitised maintenance solutions to resolve the challenges.
